About Dr. Park

Dr. Anna H. Park (she/her) is a dedicated therapist, weaving the threads of science and compassion to guide you towards a self-aware, more resilient you.

She provides services at CAYA Health Centre in BC, under the supervision of Dr. Veronica Li (RPsych). Dr. Park has applied for registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC; formerly the College of Psychologists of BC), the highest level of accreditation as a PhD-level Clinical Psychologist.

Dr. Park has expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She works with individuals experiencing symptoms such as generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, OCD, specific phobias, illness/health anxiety, low mood/depression, emotion dysregulation, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more.

Dr. Park has 7 years of experience and over 4000 hours of PhD-level Clinical Psychology training from Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) accredited institutions across BC and Ontario. She has provided psychological services at Royal Columbian Hospital (Fraser Health Authority) in BC, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto.

    Dr. Park provides evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy to individuals experiencing mild to severe levels of anxiety, low mood, trauma, and other stress-related concerns. She is skilled in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD.

    Bio.

    Dr. Park cultivated her passion for psychology at McGill University in Montréal (BSc). Her academic journey continued in the picturesque landscapes of Scotland, where she earned a Master of Science in Evolutionary and Comparative Psychology at the University of St. Andrews. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from McMaster University (CPA-accredited).
